How We Work Together

The LCMSP was established by a coalition of companies in Lorain County to address challenges and opportunities within the manufacturing sector. As an employer-driven partnership, LCMSP is committed to:

• Increasing Manufacturing Career Pathway Awareness: Promoting understanding and interest in manufacturing careers among students, educators, and the broader community to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Developing Industry-Specific Workforce Readiness Curricula: Creating customized training programs and curriculum that align with the specific skills and competencies needed by local manufacturers.
• Supporting Up-skilling and Re-skilling Initiatives: Providing opportunities for current workers to enhance their skills or transition to new roles within the manufacturing sector, ensuring an adaptable and resilient workforce.
