### Advanced Air Mobility Northeast Ohio
# The Sky Isn't The Limit. It's the Playing Field. Learn About Manufacturing Works' Approach to Drive Innovation in our Region.
## The Initiative[](https://richedward.com/portfolio/mworks-commercial-1/)
### Intro to Advanced Air Mobility
Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) is a rapidly growing and transformative market poised to revolutionize Ohio's business and public sectors.
AAM can:
- Reshape e-commerce by enabling swift and efficient deliveries.
- Save time and lives by enabling drones as first responders.
- Make Ohio's advanced manufacturing more competitive by streamlining supply chains.
- Create job opportunities such as skilled pilots, technicians, and support personnel.
Manufacturing Works cultivated an AAM ecosystem to spearhead future innovation, economic growth, and workforce development in Ohio.
Leveraging its deep roots and broad influence within the manufacturing and technology sectors, the organization links industry, academia, and federal agencies to manage public infrastructure and "traffic in the sky." What is NEOFIX?
- [NEOFIX](https://bw-centers-tech-partnerships.org/neofix/) is the instrument for state and local government and public safety agencies to post information for each other and drone operators which keep the airspace open, secure, and safe.
- NEOFIX informs drone operators of ground rules and conditions, local issues and events, public safety incidents, hazards, and sensitive and critical infrastructure: key safety and navigation data.
- NEOFIX allows information sharing in the most open way possible while also respecting operational security, privacy requirements, and public safety, enabling multiple ways to connect and share information via Internet and flight programs.
