Everyone knows Ohio as the birthplace of aviation, but do you know what's happening with Advanced Air Mobility (think drones) right now? How about with semiconductors, electrification, and advanced polymers?
Given Ohio's history of innovation and manufacturing leadership, it makes sense to bring the MX.0 Midwest event to Cleveland, Ohio this fall. I'm personally excited (really excited!) to host and to welcome all of you to “The LAND” to learn with, and from, your peers and make a difference together.
A Logical Choice
Cleveland is a great Midwest spot for a dynamic event, and we welcome contributors from everywhere—the great-white north, the south, the east, and the west—anywhere manufacturing is as important to local communities as it is to ours. In Northeast Ohio, manufacturing accounts for 30% of employment and 50% of the Gross Regional Economic Output. As for the state, Ohio retained its third-place ranking in manufacturing employment nationally, with 5.4% of all U.S. manufacturing jobs in 2022. As of Q3 2023, Ohio's manufacturing GDP exceeded $133 billion, according to data published by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
