Operational Excellence requires three key components:

  • Engagement and retention of top talent
  • Reinforcement of quality-driven processes
  • Focus on the results for the customer

In any organization, frontline supervisors and managers are the critical stakeholders in helping to achieve all three!

In this three-part professional development series, participants will learn to more fully embrace their critical roles and build upon their existing supervisory skills as we explore the following topics:

  • Front and Center! The Essentials of Frontline Leadership in Manufacturing
  • Connect, Cultivate, Collaborate: Communicating as a Frontline Leader
  • Keeping Your Talent: The Business Case and Best Practices for Engaging and Retaining Talent

By attending and actively participating in this series through attendance and by completing both pre- and post-work assignments, participants will have the opportunity to return to their workplaces and more effectively:

  • Create their unique leadership presence in order to influence operational excellence outcomes
  • Build trust, relationship, and rapport with their staff/teams
  • Navigate and value different communication styles
  • Outline and align expectations for deliverables and work quality
  • Create a culture of engagement and retention

The series will conclude with a Focus Group event designed to involve HR leaders and the participants' managers to discuss how the program has benefited their supervisors and offer an opportunity for feedback to enhance future sessions.
