More than half of privately-owned businesses expect to change ownership or leadership over the next decade. Our goal is to develop and diversify the next generation of manufacturing leaders and owners.

What's stopping you from taking the opportunity to own/lead a manufacturing company? Authentic leadership starts with your passion but also requires self-exploration, learning from peers, and working with experts to further develop the toolkit you'll need to optimize your leadership skills.

This process takes different forms for different individuals, and we've designed the program to be participant-led. We are now accepting applications for our next cohort and encourage you to apply today!

Manufacturing Works' Leadership Institute provides a high-level overview of all aspects acquiring and operating a manufacturing business, while also exploring your leadership strengths and other high-potential future career paths.

Target Audience

Future owners of manufacturing or manufacturing-related companies, current business owners seeking to acquire a new business, and future senior leaders (President, C-suite). We value diversity and inclusion and aim to have each cohort made up of at least 50% women and/or people of color. Examples of past participants:
