Established in 1987, the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC), is an outreach center based at the main campus of Kent State University. They provide succession planning support and assistance to business owners with a specialty in sales to employees. Since their founding they have helped over 700 companies develop succession plans, 100 in which employee ownership was fully or partially implemented

Promise Partners is an Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) Accelerator that helps entrepreneurial people primarily in Northeast Ohio achieve their dream of business ownership using ETA strategies. To date, Promise has helped 65 people become owners in over 90 companies.
