The Paycheck Protection Program (CARES Act), included in the expansion of the SBA 7(a) loan program, is designed to allow forgiveness of small business loans that help keep employees on the payroll and help small businesses from closing due to economic losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Proceeds from these loans can be used for payroll, healthcare, interest on mortgage obligations, rent, utilities and other debt obligations to keep the business in operation.

Jon Shoop, Partner-in-Charge of the Manufacturing & Distribution Services Group of Marcum LLP will break down the program and answer the following:

  • Who is eligible to apply?
  • What are the loan details?
  • What do I need to get ready to be first to the table?
  • Who is eligible for Loan Forgiveness and how does it work?

You will also be given the opportunity to get your questions answered directly to help you and your manufacturing business thrive during this crisis.

Jon Shoop is the Partner-in-Charge of the Manufacturing & Distribution Services Group, with a practice concentration in audits, reviews, compilations, acquisition due diligence, business advisory consulting, and tax planning.
