National Safety Apparel Addresses PPE Needs in Fight Against COVID-19

By Manufacturing Works - July 17, 2020

At our annual meeting on June 18, Manufacturing Works recognized member company, National Safety Apparel (NSA), for its contributions to the PPE initiatives of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the fight against COVID-19.

NSA, a Cleveland-based apparel manufacturer of superior-quality protective clothing and safety apparel for electric arc exposure, high-heat environments, and glass-cutting applications, is manufacturing medical masks and gowns for frontline workers in the COVID-19 crisis at both of its Cleveland and Chicago manufacturing locations.

“We’re glad to contribute our capabilities to the fight against COVID-19 and keep as many NSA workers as possible employed during these challenging times,” NSA CEO Chuck Grossman stated in a press release. “While we are allocating significant production resources in Cleveland and Chicago to the cause, we remain committed to producing safety clothing for workers in essential businesses, such as electric utilities, the armed forces, and the U.S. postal service.”
